A jolly old man who runs a Gym full of children and teaches them about battling. His is the first Gym. He runs a daycare for preschool children in his Gym, and saves people in trouble around the icy roads of the mountain. His staff are care workers; your battles are surrounded by children and blackboards showing status effects and type advantages. His signature Pokémon is Snome as they share the same beard.

Daughter of a foreigner who came to Urobos and built the city with his industry. Having two daughters, one who managed the business side of things while the other went on to take on the factory floor. But when performing on stage, where the audience is in total darkness, he can actually talk to people and puts on more bravado and confidence.

Having been chasing the Bug Pokémon for so long, the Samurai suddenly felt aimless and empty at the journey’s end. He drifted throughout the region, helping people and earning the respect of fellow trainers. Eventually he set up a Bug Sanctuary/Zen Garden in Urobos. Due to the Samurai’s fierce skill, trainers flocked to it on their own Pokémon journeys.

Shaman/Medicine person of an ancient tribe with a deep spiritual connection to nature. Distrustful of outsiders, little is known about her. She has vast knowledge of Urobos’ natural history, and are implied to be descended from the original tribes who worshipped the Nature Spirits. Dislikes modernization, as it separates them from nature. As a shaman, she carries out burial rights, communes with and preserves the memory of tribal ancestors, and helps lost souls find peace. As a medicine person, she has vast knowledge of both the healing and damaging power of plants, and is responsible for preserving the natural world and communing with the spirits of nature. In battle, she relies on special moves and status-affecting attacks, and is not afraid to use natural healing items.
